Do these yoga exercises to fight obesity

Yoga is considered good for both physical and mental health, experts say is that Hatha Yoga or the physical aspect of yoga consists of specific body posture or alignment exercise that helps a person to achieve physical fitness required to attain spiritual enlightenment. Yoga works on all the body parts, specifically helpful in reducing the body fat and fighting obesity.

Obesity is one of the major concern these days, may be due to sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy diet, day by day people are becoming fatter and also suffering from serious health problems. These are top five yoga poses that can help you to fight Obesity:

1. Naukasana-
This posture helps you to reduce belly fat, tone the abdominal muscles and strengthen the lower back.
Lie down on your back. Keep your hands along your body. Take few deep breaths. Slowly lift up your body, chest, arms and legs off the floor and continue to hold this position as long as you can. Then slowly come back to the normal position and repeat the asana for at least three times.

2. Pawan Muktasana
This exercise is helpful for burning fat in your things, hips and abdominal region.
Lie down on your back. Now slowly lift your legs up and clasp your hands around your knees and bring the legs close to the body. Hold this position for few seconds. Release your body and relax.

3. Bhujansana
This pose is especially helpful toning and stretching your arms, shoulders, buttocks, thighs, back and abdomen and it is an excellent asana for reducing belly fat.
Lie down on your tummy on the floor. The place of the palms should be on the floor beside the shoulder then inhale and lift the body till the navel. Continue this posture for few seconds and again repeat the same posture thrice.

4. Paschimottan Asana –
Again this is best for fighting belly fat and also for toning your abdominal area, pelvic region, thighs, hips, and shoulder.
You need to sit on a flat surface, and stretch your legs in the front and straighten your legs. While exhale, bend the body forward and try to touch the knees with forehead. Continue the same position as long as you can, later then release the position and relax. Repeat the same posture twice or thrice.

5. Veer Bhadrasana –
This pose is also known as warrior pose. This yoga exercise helps to reducing body fat and enhancing the body alignment and burn fat in the entire body.
Stand with your legs apart. Now, move your head to the right and bend the right leg at 90 degree. Later take a deep breath in, and then lift both the arms at the shoulder level. Continue this posture for few second then release and relax. Repeat the same posture twice or thrice.
