Lt.(Dr.)Amit Kumar Sharma, serving officer in Indian Army is a young & dynamic Consulting Ayurveda Specialist contributing richly in the global prorogation of Ayurveda. He completed his graduation in Ayurveda from reputed BHU, Varanasi and pursued his PG & Ph.d from NIA, Jaipur. Along with it he holds two diplomas in Yoga & Health and Nutrition.  At present, he is Managing Director at Bhagwati Ayurveda & Panchakarma Research Centre. He is a Panchakarma Specialist and Ayurvedic Expert in Preventive Cardiology. Practising since 2008, Lt.(Dr.)Sharma has been keenly involved in eradicating the pain, agony and sufferings and the chronic ailments of his patients mainly Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lumbar-Cervical Spondylosis, Osteo-arthritis, Psoriasis, Vililigo, Gastritis, Ulcerative Colitis and other chronic  auto-immune disorders.  Lt.(Dr.)Sharma has planned his hospital with a unique concept of integration of alternative systems of medicine i.e. Ayurveda, Panchakarma, Yoga, Meditation and Physiotherapy facilities all under one roof. A 10 beded health centre one of its own kind is unique in itself and offers herbal treatments based on core principles of Ayurveda.

Contributing to the divine system of Ayurveda Lt.(Dr.)Sharma has twelve (12) research papers published in standard peer reviewed and other National / International journals. He is a regular guest author in the National newspapers writing informative articles about Ayurveda and Panchakarma thus making this important traditional therapy popular among the masses. To his credit Lt.(Dr.)Sharma holds the experience of attending and presenting papers in several National and International Conferences/Seminars/Symposia (attended-18, papers presented-3). He has co-authored five (05) standard books on Ayurveda along with Prof. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Former Director, NIA, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
