| Dr. Anshu S.S. Kotia is working as Additional Director, Anesthesia and has been associated with Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur since inception. She has 20 years of rich experience in the field of Anesthesia. She did her MBBS and MD from India's premier SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur. She has worked as Assistant Professor at Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Medical Sciences, Jaipur and dealt with all kinds of routine and emergency surgeries and ICU care. She was also trained at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Jaipur where she dealt with high risk cancer surgeries and ICU & pain management using regional nerve blocks. She has been extensively trained in polytrauma and emergency services at SMS Hospital, Jaipur after her MD. Besides, she has also worked at Rungta Children and General Hospital, Jaipur in OT and ICU. She has been granted International Life Membership of 'Difficult Airway Society, UK (2009) and Airway Management Foundation (AMF), New Delhi. She is Life Member of Indian Society of Anesthesia, Jaipur Medical Association and Medical Practioners Society. She is also co-guide of DNB students and in charge of conducting DNB classes. She has been awarded Kranti Ratan Award by Youth Congress, Rajasthan for her Social Service in health sector. She is life member of PETA. She has passed online examination conducted by Cleveland Clinic, USA on Management of Joint Replacement Surgeries (2009). She is BLS and ACLS certified provider of American Heart Association. Her special areas of interest are conducting regional and Nerve blocks, high risk surgeries, pediatric surgeries and table teaching. She has attended various National and International Conferences as delegate, faculty and chairperson. She was also treasurer in ICPM (2014).  |
